Nasmak was a Dutch experimental new wave band from Nuenen, Netherlands, active from 1978 to 1984. Initially formed in 1978 under the name Nasmaak, they sang in Dutch but later changed their name to Nasmak when Dutch songs became less prevalent. From 1980 onward, they released all their records on the Amsterdam-based Plurex label, owned by Wally van Middendorp of Minny Pops. Their album "4our Clicks," released in 1982, received critical acclaim for both its music and cover artwork, designed by Rob van Middendorp, and in 2008 it ranked 14th in the Top 50 all-time best Nederpop charts. Joop van Brakel left the band in 1983, and in 1984, they performed at the first edition of the TegenTonen Festival in Paradiso before disbanding shortly after. Following the dissolution, Henk, Toon, and Theo, along with friends, established a recording studio in Eindhoven, which operated until 1991. The members of Nasmak, including De Groot, have occasionally collaborated in various formations since then. In 2018, they created Nasmak PM (PlusMinus), which signifies a variable line-up and a desire to work with guests, reflecting that it is not solely focused on the original Nasmak. Nasmak PM emerged 40 years after the founding of Nasmak by Joop, Henk, and Toon
