Nathan Dawidowicz was born in Milan to a Cameroonian father and a Polish/Lithuanian mother. At the age of six, they moved to Jerusalem, where they grew up in a Jewish ultra-orthodox environment. During their childhood, they played the piano in religious ceremonies and dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and musician. After breaking free from the constraints of their upbringing, they relocated to Venice to explore the world beyond the barriers of religion. While completing a fashion design degree in Milan, music became their refuge, leading them to develop a practice of storytelling through sound. They serendipitously followed their father's path as a DJ, immersing themselves in the vibrant nightlife of Milan during the Eighties and Nineties. Their quest for belonging and passion for music eventually brought them to Berlin, where they currently create, live, and love. In March 2023, Dawidowicz released their debut solo album, “Sanctuary of Ideas,” through the Zurich-Berlin-based label Lustpoderosa. This album is a deeply personal and optimistic journey, reflecting Nathan's spiritual path and adventurous life. It features beautiful twists and psychedelic elements, blending jazzy sounds with Cosmic and Krautrock influences, and serves as a perfect reflection of Dawidowicz's diverse heritage.
