Nazz was an American psychedelic and garage rock band formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1967. The band disbanded in 1969 after releasing two commercially unsuccessful albums. They took their name from the Yardbirds' song "The Nazz Are Blue" from the 1966 LP. Nazz is best known for featuring multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Todd Rundgren, who later achieved critical acclaim as a solo artist in the 1970s. Their most famous songs include Rundgren's originals "Open My Eyes" and "Hello It's Me."
