Ndikho Xaba was a South African songwriter, bandleader, pianist, and inventor of percussion and woodwind instruments. He left his country as an exile in 1964 and eventually settled in San Francisco, USA. Ndikho Xaba passed away on June 11, 2019, at the age of 85, indicating he was born in 1934 or 1935.
