Nebraska, the alias of London-based producer Alistair Gibbs, creates music that intertwines the essence of records and deep house. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of sample-based hip hop, his work has become a secret weapon for DJs worldwide since the 90s. Growing up in a family of passionate record collectors, Alistair was immersed in jazz, early hip hop, and dub from a young age, starting to crate-dig for vintage breakbeats at just 13. He began releasing music under various aliases in the early 90s, with his first release as Nebraska in 2000. Over the years, he has built a solid reputation with releases on labels like Rush Hour, Heist, Delusions of Grandeur, Razor-n-tape, and Mister Saturday Night, and he now runs his own Friends & Relations label. Nebraska's live performances have captivated audiences in cities such as London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris, and he has made two appearances on Boiler Room.
