Negrocan is a multi-ethnic group formed in London in 1991 by Andres Lafone. The band consists of members from various countries: Andres Lafone from Uruguay (bass, vocals), Liliana Chachion from Brazil (vocals), Davide Giovaninni from Italy (drums, vocals), Neil Angilly from England (keyboards), and Carlos Fuentes from Chile (percussion). They gained recognition by performing at the WOMAD festival in 1992.
