Negrosex was a German techno group based in Pirmasens, in the area now known as Südwestpfalz, near the French border. The duo gained notoriety with their first single, "God And Evil," which featured a provocative photo of Pope John Paul II with an altar boy. Their subsequent single, "Tekno La Droga," is considered one of the highlights of German techno. They released their final single, "Dance You Bastards!," before transitioning to form the hardcore crossover band, Headcrash. Tragically, one member committed suicide during the recording of Headcrash's second album, "Direction of Correctness," in December 1993.
