Neil Sedaka was an American singer, pianist, composer, and producer, born on March 13, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 86 in Los Angeles, California, USA. In a 2010 interview, Sedaka mentioned that the British Invasion, particularly its impact, halted his singing career in the early 1960s. He collaborated with songwriting partners to create numerous hits for various artists. He credited Elton John with reviving his singing career in the mid-1970s, as John signed him to his new label in the United States and sang on "Bad Blood." This LP was aptly titled "Sedaka's Back." Neil was married to his wife on September 11, 1962, and they had a daughter and a son named Marc. He was also a first cousin of another notable figure.
