Nemahsis is a Palestinian-Canadian singer-songwriter based in Toronto, Ontario. She began her music career in 2021 with the release of her debut single "what if i took it off for you?" and followed it up with her first EP, "eleven achers," in 2022. In 2024, after being dropped by her label for her pro-Palestinian stance, she released the single "stick of gum," which was succeeded by three more singles. Her debut album, "Verbathim," was released on September 13, 2024.
