Nephlim Modulation Systems is a collaborative project between NYC indie innovator Big Justoleum, a central member of Company Flow, and Californian underground legend Orko Elohiem. After five years of planning, they recorded two albums titled "The Nephlim Modulation Sessions" in a rural cotton mill loft in deep South Georgia. Originally intended as a futuristic exploration of abstraction, the project was significantly influenced by the political climate under the Bush administration. Big Justoleum noted that the overwhelming presence of right-wing media and paranoia reminiscent of the McCarthy era compelled them to produce this record.
