New Fast Automatic Daffodils, also known as "New FADs" and later shortened to "New Fads," was an indie rock group hailing from Manchester, England. Active from 1988 to 1995, the band initially drew inspiration from the Madchester scene, blending danceable guitar riffs with elements of post-punk, funk, dub, and Krautrock. Their songwriting evolved significantly over time, with their second album, "Body Exit Mind," showcasing a broader emotional range. The group's creative peak was achieved with their third and final album, "Love It All." The lineup consisted of Andy Spearpoint on vocals, Justin Crawford on bass, Dolan Hewison on guitar, Perry Saunders on drums, and Icarus Wilson-Wright on percussion.
