Nick Curran was an American blues and rock 'n' roll singer and guitarist, born on September 30, 1977, and he passed away on October 6, 2012. He led the band Nick Curran & the Lowlifes, a rock and blues group based in Austin, Texas. Curran was known for his dynamic style, drawing comparisons to influential artists such as T-Bone Walker, Little Richard, The Sonics, Doug Sahm, Misfits, and The Ramones. He toured extensively with his band until his untimely death.
