Nick Wood is a British guitarist born on January 23, 1951, in London, England. He moved to Germany with his parents due to his father's service in the British army and grew up in Munich. In 1972, he joined a band after the release of their album that same year, which was later renamed. Before that, he worked for a cover band and briefly joined another group. In the fall of 1974, Wood left the band Sahara and played for another band before becoming a studio guitarist throughout the 1970s, collaborating with many well-known artists of the time. In 1981, he founded his own band, which is still active. He toured with another band for several years and was a musician in the band of a prominent artist for over a decade. In 2006, he participated in the reunion of Sahara, which lasted until 2019.
