Nicola Conte is a Latin-jazz artist, composer, producer, and DJ from Bari, Italy, born in 1962 or 1964. He is known for DJing internationally and has compiled several notable compilations. In addition to recording many albums of his own, Conte has produced and recorded for numerous artists and has collaborated with several regular musicians throughout his career. He is associated with an Italian label that has seen many of its albums receive international distribution through major labels. Recently, Conte has continued to work with various artists and has been prolific in his remixing efforts, providing several remixes each year, including for a Japanese artist and for jazz band associates.
