Nicola Antonio Porpora, also known as Niccolò Porpora, was an Italian composer born on 17 August 1686 and passed away on 3 March 1768. He was renowned for his Baroque operas and served as a teacher of singing, with his most famous student being the celebrated castrato Farinelli.
