Nicola Samale is an Italian composer and conductor, born on September 14, 1941, in Castelnuovo d'Istria, now part of Podgrad, Ilirska Bistrica in Slovenia. He has an extensive body of work that includes chamber music, orchestral and vocal compositions. In addition to his classical endeavors, he has also been involved in the Italian pop music scene, notably directing the RCA Orchestra in 1973. Throughout his career, Samale has collaborated with other composers and has written numerous operas, as well as contributing to various movie soundtracks.
