Nicole Willis is a US singer, visual artist, and musician born in 1963 in Brooklyn, New York City. She began her musical career in 1984, singing and writing songs with bands such as "Blue Period" and "Hello Strangers." In 1985, she performed with a group called "Washington Week In Review" in London. In 1989, Willis contributed her vocals to the 'Mind Bomb' tour and joined a band the following year, releasing an album in 1992. She collaborated with various artists, including working on "Let's Do It Again" in 1984 and recording two albums titled "" (1995) and "" (1997) as their vocalist and songwriter. She also recorded a track in 2000 with an artist from their 1999 album. Willis relocated to Helsinki, Finland, where she produced and recorded with various musicians, including her ex-husband, releasing albums in 2000 and 2004. Between 2003 and 2015, she recorded three soul/funk studio albums and returned to work with Tenor, releasing two house music albums under a different name and starting her label. Further collaborations included work on Persephone Records with various artists and albums released in 2017 and 2019.
