Nicolette first gained attention in the music world in 1990 with her collaboration that led to the hit single ‘School of the World/Single Minded People.’ This success was followed by several dancefloor hits and the release of her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Now Is Early’ in 1992. She later collaborated with Massive Attack, contributing to the singles ‘Sly’ and ‘Three’ on their platinum-selling album “Protection” in 1994. In 1995, Nicolette signed with a new label and released ‘No Government,’ the first single from her upcoming album. The album “Let No-one Live Rent Free In Your Head,” released in 1996, was hailed as a masterpiece and achieved both critical and commercial success, featuring numerous excellent remixes. During this time, she collaborated with various respected artists and released a DJ mix album, starting her worldwide DJ career, which she continues to this day. In 1999, Nicolette left Talkin’ Loud to establish her own label, Early Records. Her third album, “Life Loves Us,” was released in 2005. Following two singles from this album, she re-released “No Government” with new remixes in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
