Nicomedes Santa Cruz was a Peruvian poet, musician, singer, folklorist, and musicologist known for his contributions to Afro-Peruvian folklore. He was born in Lima on June 4, 1925, and passed away in Madrid on February 5, 1992. He is also known by the alternative spelling Niko Santa Cruz. He was the brother of other notable individuals.
