Niebiesko-Czarni was a vocal-instrumental ensemble founded in 1962, following the disbandment of a Rhythm and Blues group. Their debut concert took place on March 24, 1962, at the club "Żak" in Gdańsk. The group featured prominent Polish artists from the 1960s and recorded a total of 8 LPs and 24 singles, achieving a total circulation of 3.5 million units during their more than fourteen-year history. Niebiesko-Czarni disbanded on June 30, 1976, but they occasionally reunited in 1986, 1987, 1992, and 2002.
