**Nightbirds** is a French electronic music duo founded in 1985 by twin brothers. Initially, they aimed to release an album by the end of that year using the limited instruments at their disposal, resulting in their self-produced debut album, "Géode." In 1993, Nightbirds showcased their project live at the "Electronic Waves" festival in Paris, which led them to further explore electronic music instruments and mastering techniques. Their sound is characterized by ambient textures, minimalism, and electroacoustic elements, often creating long pieces that serve as a meeting ground for artistic expression. Nightbirds is recognized for their self-produced releases and contributions to projects like the "Dreamwatchers' Tales" series. They continue to forge ahead, crafting intricate electronic landscapes.
