Nika Son is a musician, artist, and film sound designer based in Hamburg. Influenced by Musique Concrète and the expansive realm of electronic music, her compositions feature deformed and fragmented field recordings, intertwined with analogue synth lines, broken rhythms, rare voice samples, and filtered tape layers. As a DJ under the name Nikae, she hosts two regular nights at the Hamburg Golden Pudel Club and releases her music on her own label, Noctui. Additionally, she has contributed to various compilations across different labels.
