Nine Days' Wonder was a German underground rock band formed in the 1970s in Mannheim. The band was fronted by the eccentric vocalist Walter Seyffer, who had previously led various bands during the 1960s. Seyffer claims to have established Nine Days' Wonder in 1966 under the name The Graves, which evolved into Nine Days' Wonder in February 1970. The band brought together a diverse group of musicians from Germany, Austria, Ireland, and England, creating a unique rock fusion that encompassed various forms of Krautrock, while also reflecting distinct influences from Frank Zappa and British progressive rock.
