Nino Bless, born Hector Jesus Alvarez, is a Brooklyn native with deep roots in music, influenced by his family's involvement in the salsa scene. Initially learning to play the piano, he later developed a passion for hip-hop during his teenage years. To break into the rap industry, he founded Milestone Media, a marketing company that promoted both mainstream and underground rap artists, including Chamillionaire and Immortal Technique. As he transitioned from marketing to ghostwriting, he began crafting his own witty rhymes, encouraged by the legendary Kool G Rap to pursue a solo career. In the late 2000s, Bless gained recognition in the New York scene with tracks like "4 in the Clip," featuring Joell Ortiz, Styles P, and Kool G Rap, and "3rd Degree," which included Saigon, Scram Jones, and Crooked I. His first mixtape, 'Untold Scriptures' (2008), generated significant buzz, primarily within New York. Since then, Nino Bless has fully committed to his passion for music, engaging in rapping, blogging, and creating acclaimed mixtapes, all while honoring the encouragement of his mentor, Kool G Rap.
