Nobukazu Takemura is a Japanese electronic DJ, producer, and artist born on August 26, 1968, in Osaka, Japan. He began his DJ career during high school, performing in clubs across Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe. In 1987, he formed the DJ team "Cool Jazz Productions," and in 1988, he joined "Audio Sports," a legendary hip-hop unit led by Eye Yamatsuka of the Boredoms. In 1993, Takemura ventured out as a solo artist, adopting a moniker that reflects his aim to create melodies that evoke a sense of wonder, childlike innocence, and curiosity. He has an extensive catalog of collaborations with critically acclaimed artists worldwide, working with various partners from different fields, including a designer for whom he created music for two seasons and a company that commissioned him to produce sounds for their futuristic "Aibo" toy dog. His diverse range of collaborations showcases his broad musical talents. He was managed by an undisclosed entity.
