Nonlocal Forecast is the moniker of Chicago-based producer and composer Marcloid, who creates music that blends elements of prog, jazz fusion, and new age into intricate instrumental compositions. Her work features complex harmonic structures and programmed percussion, positioning Nonlocal Forecast as a satellite project alongside her other genre-defying endeavors. With the debut album Bubble Universe!, Marcloid draws inspiration from her studies in quantum physics and non-dual spirituality, resulting in a micro/macrocosmic composition style that reflects the movement of celestial bodies and subatomic particles.
