Norah Jones is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress, born on March 30, 1979. She is the daughter of an Indian sitar player and has several notable relatives, including a niece and a paternal half-sister. In 2002, she launched her solo music career with the release of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful album "Come Away with Me," which is a fusion of jazz, pop, and country music. The album was certified diamond in 2002, selling over 26 million copies and earning her five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist. Jones' subsequent studio albums, "Feels Like Home" (2004), "Not Too Late" (2007), and "The Fall" (2009), all achieved Platinum status, selling over a million copies and receiving positive reviews from critics. In 2007, she made her film debut in "My Blueberry Nights." Her fifth studio album, "Little Broken Hearts," was released on April 27, 2012.
