Normil Hawaiians is a collective formed in 1979 in Orpington, Greater London, England. The band is known for its ever-changing line-up, centered around guitarist and vocalist Jim/James Lusted. The band had two distinct periods with different members and contributors. Between 1979 and 1981, the line-up included Jim/James Lusted (guitar, vocals), Janet Armstrong (vocals), Kev/Kevin Armstrong (guitar), Colin Donaldson (bass), Chris Westerman (drums), Nick Rose (bass), Sue Leeves (backing vocals), Sarah Harley (backing vocals), The Famous Delfonso (sax), Roger Smith (violin), Brian Kealy (drums), and Stephen Berlin (Bertie) (vocals). From 1981 to 1986, the band featured Simon Marchant (guitar), Cliff McLenehan (bass), Noel Blanden (drums), Mark Tyler (string synth), Dave Anderson (bass), and Alun 'Wilf' Williams (bass).
