Nosaj Thing, born Jason W. Chung in Los Angeles, is a DJ and producer with 15 years of experience in music production and performance. He began his journey in the early 2000s at LA’s DIY venue The Smell and has since opened for notable artists such as The xx and The Weeknd. Nosaj Thing has headlined influential live experiences worldwide, collaborating with visual artists like Daito Manabe and Bureau Cool. He has produced tracks for renowned artists including Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, and Chance The Rapper, and has remixed a diverse array of musicians such as Philip Glass, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Flying Lotus. Across his discography, which includes three EPs and four albums, Nosaj Thing explores and transcends genres, creating an evocative and experimental body of work. His releases include the ‘Views / Octopus’ EP (2006), ‘Drift’ (2009), ‘Home’ (2013), ‘Fated’ (2015), ‘No Reality EP’ (2016), ‘Parallels’ (2017), and ‘No Mind’ (2020).
