NSI is a partnership between Tobias Freund and Max Loderbauer, known for their unexpected and eccentric approach to music. Their work deviates from conventional paths, embracing repetition—the lifeblood of electronic music—while ensuring that no two moments in their music are ever the same. This uniqueness stems from their real-time performance style; they do not simply program their instruments but play them, blending code-crunching with an analog foundation and a lot of hands-on manipulation.
