Nujabes, born Jun Seba on February 7, 1974, in Japan, was a renowned Japanese hip-hop music producer known for his unique sound that blended strong cool jazz influences with hip-hop. His artist name is his real name spelled backwards. Nujabes owned a record shop in Shibuya, Tokyo, and operated his own independent record label. He was associated with the label "Tribe," which released 7" records featuring various friends and associates. His music often included samples from notable artists. Additionally, Nujabes was part of a production duo, collaborating with another artist and contributing to the "Luv(sic)" 12". Tragically, he passed away in a car accident in Tokyo on February 26, 2010, at the age of 36.
