Nydia Caro is an American and Puerto Rican actress and singer, born on July 6, 1948, in New York City to parents from Rincón, Puerto Rico. She began her career in the arts at a young age while living in New York. After completing high school, she enrolled in the New York School of Performing Arts, where she took classes in singing, dancing, and acting. Since 1967, she has released 20 internationally acclaimed albums.
