Ohio Express is an American bubblegum pop band that originated in Mansfield, Ohio, in 1967. While marketed as a band, it is more accurately described as a brand name used to release music by various musicians and acts. The group is best known for hits like "Yummy Yummy Yummy," which were primarily created by a collection of studio musicians based in New York, including singer/songwriter Joey Levine. Several other songs attributed to Ohio Express were actually produced by unrelated musical groups, such as the Rare Breed and an early version of 10cc. Additionally, a separate touring version of Ohio Express performed at live events and recorded some of the band's album tracks. The lineup included Joey Levine on vocals, Dale Power and Doug Grassel on guitars, Dean Kastran on bass, Jim Pfahler on keyboards, and Tim Corwin on drums.
