**Bio of Ολέθριο Ρήγμα** Ολέθριο Ρήγμα, also known as Apache, is a Greek punk band formed in 1989, influenced by extreme hardcore sounds. The band, featuring guitar and vocals, toured throughout Greece from 1989 to 1993, performing intense live shows at schools, small clubs, and politically occupied venues. In 1994, they released their first album, Ο Τελευταίος Αιώνας, which was well-received by the local punk and hardcore scene. During this time, another band was active in the scene, initially intended to be an all-female group, but after some changes, a member joined Ολέθριο Ρήγμα as a bass player. Both bands often shared the stage and eventually united to form a single band, releasing their first album, Ολέθριο Ρήγμα, in 1996. This album showcased a more aggressive and powerful sound. In 1997 and 1998, the band financed two independent compilation CDs, "Chaos I" and "Chaos II," featuring unsigned bands from the local scene. By late 1998, they signed with a division of a larger label and began working on a more professional level. Their 1999 album, Πολέμησε Για Τους Αθώους, marked a significant evolution in their sound, incorporating more complex and metallic elements while maintaining their punk/hardcore roots.
