Omid, also known as OD, is an influential figure in the underground Hip Hop movement, inspired by the vibrant scene at the "Goodlife Open Mic" in the early to mid-90s. He is the sole producer of the "Beneath the Surface" compilation, which features over 30 MCs primarily from the Los Angeles underground Hip Hop scene. Omid has produced numerous projects, including the highly acclaimed single "Can You Find The Level Of Difficulty In This?" in collaboration with Freestyle Fellowship and Adlib, released by Celestial Recordings. Additionally, he remixed the Beastie Boys' track "Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun" for their DVD Video Anthology. Omid's music is characterized by its diversity and unpredictability, drawing influences from a wide array of sources that he aims to share with his listeners.
