Omni Trio, the alias of producer Rob Haigh, hails from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and later moved to Hertford. He made his debut in early 1993 with a release on his own label, which garnered attention from a Hertford-based trio that helped him secure a record deal. Throughout the 1990s, Haigh cultivated a distinctive style that became known as ambient or 'intelligent' Drum and Bass, releasing six acclaimed albums. The Omni Trio sound is characterized by intricate orchestrated production and an atmospheric sound palette.
