Plunky & Oneness Of Juju is a rhythm & blues-African-jazz-funk band from Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A. Originally founded in San Francisco in 1971 under the name Juju, the group has evolved over more than 30 years, performing and recording while undergoing changes in personnel and group names. The band has been consistently led by J. Plunky Branch. Their chronological evolution is as follows: from 1971 to 1974, they were known as Juju; from 1975 to 1981, they became Oneness Of Juju; from 1982 to 1988, they were called Plunky & Oneness of Juju; and since 1988, they have been known as Plunky & Oneness.
