Orch. Conga International was a Congolese/Zairean band active in the 1970s, led by an unnamed individual. The band was formed when Bokelo was renamed. They are part of the broader context of "Conga Jazz" groups, which include several notable ensembles over the years: from 1957 to 1960 led by an unnamed leader, from 1958 to 1968 led by another unnamed leader, from 1968 to 1972 led by yet another unnamed leader, and from 1972 to 1995 led by a final unnamed leader.
