Organized Rhyme is a Canadian hip hop group from Ottawa, Ontario, known for its member, comedian Tom Green. The group gained recognition for its catchy beats, simplistic choruses, and clever rhymes. Their debut single, "Check the O.R.," won the MuchVibe Best Rap Video (MMVA Award) in 1992 and was nominated for a Juno Award for Best Rap Recording in 1993, although it lost to Devon's "Keep It Slammin'." Their second music video was for the song "Luv 1." Despite their early success, the group disbanded, with A&M Records being blamed for wanting them to remove the comedic aspect of their music. Additionally, internal conflicts among members contributed to their breakup. In 2000, a dance remix of "Check the O.R." was released on the compilation CD "Pure Dance 5," and the original music video was featured on Green's 2005 rap album, "Prepare for Impact." Organized Rhyme reunited on July 28, 2011, at the "Just For Laughs Festival" in Montreal, Quebec, releasing a 2011 version of "Check The O.R." for free download and a music video on The Comedy Network's website in October 2011.
