Orient Expressions is a collective from Istanbul's Oxy-gen Radio, consisting of Cem Yıldız, DJ Yakuza, Richard Hamer, and Murat Uncuoğlu. The group blends ancient and modern influences, as well as occidental and oriental sounds. Cem Yıldız plays the traditional darbuka drum, while DJ Yakuza provides soundscapes, and Richard Hamer contributes with woodwinds and "sonic contours."
