Los Orientales de Paramonga, commonly known as "Los Orientales," hail from the northern city of Paramonga in Peru, located 200 km from Lima. The band is recognized for their unique style and exceptional talent, with the guitar "wah-wah" sound being a defining characteristic of their music. The current lineup includes Victor Ramirez as the Director and Lead Guitarist, Carlos Ramirez on Rhythm Guitar, Severino Rino Ramirez on Bass, Evert Rosales on Timbales, Manuel Mañuco Rea on Tumbas, and Victor Rojas on Seaweed, along with various additional artists. It is important to note that the biography mentioned here reflects the output of two different bands sharing the same name. The original Orientales were established by Maximiliano Chávez in the late 1960s, with their records released under the Infopesa label.
