Original Flavor was a hip hop group active in the mid-90s, originally consisting of Ski and Suave Lover. They released two albums: "This Is How It Is" in 1992 and "Beyond Flavor" in 1994, the latter featuring T-Strong and DJ Chubby Chub after Suave Lover's departure. The group is known for their hit song "Can I Get Open," which peaked at #46 on the Billboard Maxi Singles chart and prominently features Jay-Z. After the release of "Beyond Flavor," Original Flavor disbanded but began collaborating with Roc-A-Fella Records, working alongside Jay-Z, Damon Dash, and Kareem Burke.
