Orpheus is a US-American rock band hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts, that gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Originally formed as the folk duo The Villagers, consisting of Bruce Arnold and Jack McKenes, they performed together from 1964 until mid-1967 before transitioning into their rock identity as Orpheus.
