Orquesta Cosmopolita is a Cuban jazz-band orchestra founded in Havana in 1938. It was directed by saxophonist Vicente Viana until his death in 1944. The orchestra was then led by another director in the 1940s and 1950s, followed by a different leader in the 1960s. It is also known as Tipo Jazz Band "Cosmopolita."
