Orquesta Cubana de Música Moderna is a Cuban band established in 1969 by a trumpet player and an arranger/flute/saxophone player, featuring members from the earlier "Orquesta Juvenil de Música Moderna," which was founded in 1967. The band was initially directed by one individual and later by two others.
