Orquesta River Side is a renowned Cuban musical group that emerged in 1938, initially known as Orquesta Havana Riverside. It became one of the most acclaimed Cuban orchestras during the 1940s and 50s. The orchestra had several directors over the years, including one from 1938 to 1945, Antonio Sosa from 1945 to 1947, another from 1947 to 1957, and a final director from 1957 to 1962.
