Os Kiezos is an Angolan music group founded in 1963 in Luanda by Domingos António Miguel da Silva (Kituxe), Aristófanes da Rosa Coelho (Adolfo Coelho), Tininho, and Anselmo de Sousa Arcanjo (Marito). The band gained recognition in 1969 when they performed at Ngola Cine, one of the most important venues of the time. In 1970, they recorded their first single at Rádio Nacional de Angola, then known as Voz de Angola. During this period, Juventino Anselmo de Sousa Arcanjo (Juventino), Jorge Pasteur José da Costa (Vate Costa), and Fausto Lemos joined the group.
