Otik, the moniker of Ashley Thomas, has been making waves in the club music scene with his forward-thinking and hard-hitting tracks. Over the years, he has released music on notable labels such as Polydor, Dusky’s 17 Steps, Infinite Machine, and DEXT Recordings. His debut 4-track EP, ‘Top Ten,’ was released on Keysound Recordings in late 2018. In 2019, Otik continued to build his discography with the compilation track ‘Memoria’ and the ‘Stoned Ghost’ EP on Berlin’s Nous imprint, showcasing his exploration of the emotive and dreamy aspects of UK Techno. He followed this with the vocal club track ‘Actress’ on Midland’s Intergraded and the experimental ‘Dioxide’ EP via DEXT Recordings, which featured a remix from Hessle Audio’s Bruce. Later that year, he released the EP ‘Blasphemy’ through Boogie Box Records, accompanied by a remix from Metrist of Timedance. The year 2020 has been particularly prolific for Otik, as he returned to Intergraded with a critically acclaimed 4-track solo EP titled 'Wetlands.' He also released the single 'NDE' on Hodge & Franklin De Costa's 'Mother's Finest' imprint in March, followed by another 4-track effort for Mr. Mitch's Gobstopper Records in April. With more releases on the horizon, he shows no signs of slowing
