Ozomatli is an LA-based band known for their vibrant fusion of Latin and world music influences with funk and hip-hop. The group is recognized for their political consciousness, advocating for social change through both their music and activism. Their energetic live performances have helped them build a large fan base. Originally, Chali 2na and Cut Chemist from Jurassic 5 were members of Ozomatli, and they continue to contribute as guest artists on the band's latest album, Street Signs. Following their departure, Ozomatli welcomed new members, including rappers Justin "El Niño" Poree and Jabu, along with turntablist DJ Spinobi.
