Ozz & The Sperlings, also known as Oz & His Sperlings, were formed in 1966 in Los Angeles, California, by producer and lead singer Jesse Osborne. They gained local popularity with their first single, a cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Mo Jo Hannah.” Following this success, they released a follow-up track, “Dance (Holes In Your Soles),” which received airplay but did not achieve the same level of success as their debut. The group disbanded in 1968.
